Chair - Laura
I began playing football at five and continued until fifteen, immersed in the sport. Opportunities for girls were limited then; football slipped away for nearly twenty years. Joining Horsham Eagles in 2020 reignited that passion. I wish I'd returned sooner but I'm grateful to have found this club. Professionally, I lead teams, yet outside work I'm naturally reserved, so joining was significant and it was one of my best decisions. I started on the committee as a general member before becoming Chair. Supporting the club and its players is something I take pride in. Horsham Eagles has become a second family: dedicated, talented, supportive people committed to one another and the club's values. We're fortunate to have such a hard-working committee driving this club forward.

Membership Secretary - Sam
Hi, I’m Sam! I joined the Eagles in August 2024 at my first training session wanting to try something new despite not knowing any of the rules. I started out in walking football and now play for our recreational team. I joined the committee because I wanted to play an active part in running this amazing club. I love being a welcoming, friendly face for new players taking that first step to join us and I don't mind the admin! What I love most about the Eagles is how inclusive it is for all abilities. It’s fantastic for fitness, but above all, I love the team for the banter, the laughs, and how it helps you completely forget any stress!

Finance Officer - Michelle
I played football from age 5-20 and loved every second of it. Then life after university happened; a family, a job - all the "me-time" evaporated and football became a desire not a possibility. Once my kids got older and I had free time again, I joined Horsham Eagles, and it's been everything I hoped for and more. We're a cohesive bunch of ladies from all walks of life who just want to play football and enjoy ourselves. We enjoy winning, but for me, the company and laughs mean just as much. I joined the committee because I value the role Eagles plays in my life, and it's the least I can do to show my appreciation.

Club Secretary/Marketing Coordinator - Rachel
I'm Rachel. Football was a big part of my life when I was younger but somewhere in the middle that interest waned when life took a different direction. Eagles has helped me rediscover my passion for football and reminded me what playing sport and being in a team feels like... glorious! I'm a marketeer by trade and enjoying being on the committee to help the club thrive and grow. It's fantastic feeling like you belong somewhere with like-minded people, doing what you love with the benefit of physical and positive wellbeing.

Youth Teams Secretary/Head Coach - Phil
An FA qualified coach, I currently play for Roffey Vets and Horsham Kopites Vets, having played football all my life, including 14 seasons at South Bank Cuaco FC in London. I've coached youth teams, both boys and girls, for over 22 years and I'm passionate about giving girls in Horsham access to competitive football. For me, coaching is about building character: communication, teamwork, self-belief and resilience that carries into adulthood. Whatever the result, the girls do their best, have fun, and grow as people first, players second - it's all I want for my daughters and the girls I coach.

Youth Teams Safeguarding Officer - Amanda
I played football at school, a long time ago, and while I enjoyed it, I didn't carry on once I started work and had children. My 30 year career was in secondary teaching (maths and economics), and I was a Headteacher for 8 of those. I loved the chance to work closely with teams supporting young people to develop and learn. Now retired, I sit as the lay member on the West Sussex Safeguarding Children Partnership and enjoy sport, fitness, and time with family and friends. My involvement in youth football is through my grandchildren, and I'm excited to support Horsham Eagles FC's youth teams.

Also on our committee are Jill a general member and recreational team representative, and Tracey and Mary-Anne both general members and walking team representatives. Jess, Andy, Greg and Russell are also part of the Youth Squads support team.
